About the Field Sparrow

It started back in 2007 when one day I took a stroll along the Main Street of Clunes. It was like stepping back in time and it captured my heart…I knew I’d be back to Clunes one day. Fast forward to 2024 and when the right space became available, I decided that now was the time to add another chapter to my story.

I chose the store name from a poem by Mary Oliver and set about building my store, surrounded by the things that I loved, and now I want to share them with you. My vision was to create a space where you feel like you can call in and hang out with your book loving friends.

Clunes Booktown seemed a perfect space to do that.
